Black on White Violence: Dylann Roof’s Motive for Murder

The on-going attack upon all things Confederate is a distraction from the ugly truth: Dylann Roof’s motive for murder, which is something the media will never discuss…

“The event that truly awakened me was the Trayvon Martin case. I kept hearing and seeing his name, and eventually I decided to look him up. I read the Wikipedia article and right away I was unable to understand what the big deal was. It was obvious that Zimmerman was in the right. But more importantly this prompted me to type in the words “black on White crime” into Google, and I have never been the same since that day. The first website I came to was the Council of Conservative Citizens. There were pages upon pages of these brutal black on White murders. I was in disbelief. At this moment I realized that something was very wrong. How could the news be blowing up the Trayvon Martin case while hundreds of these black on White murders got ignored?” ~ Dylann Roof (emphasis added) (Source)

Black on White Violence Is Accelerating in America

“Colin Flaherty is a noted journalist for 30 years, whose works have appeared in major newspapers including The New York Times, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times, and has been published in 1,000 sites around the world and received 50 journalism awards. Flaherty made an appearance Nov. 3 at Atlantic Cape Community College to speak about black-on-white violence, a topic, he stated, which does not receive much press.

“The subject makes editors uncomfortable, Flaherty said. Liberals, he said, cringe at the idea of black-on-white violence and police underreport it…”

Why can black on white violence not be publicly spoken of?

    • I don’t think it can be. Not in the media. I’ve been following many local news channels via social media and I see incidents of black on white violence all the time, which never becomes “a national conversation”. Rarely is race mentioned in a headline if the perp is black and the victim is white, but if the perp is white and the victim is black race is always mentioned in the headline, and the story becomes “a national conversation”. It’s pretty obvious media has an agenda. And it’s not to unify blacks and whites, it’s the opposite.

  2. I think it’s a mistake to hold peoples of the past accountable to today’s moral standards. It’s all too easy to judge peoples of the past with 20/20 hindsight. It’s harder to put ourselves in their place.

I agree, holding people of the past to today’s standards IMO is just snarky self righteousness of the most obnoxious kind. Our so called moral standard is simply the prevailing ethos of the times. We imbibe it just as those of earlier times did the same.
Of course it is harder to put ourselves in their place as that might mean having to actually understand someone, plus it light mean having to disengage the ego too.
