Black Power vs Confederate Flag

Political correctness is not about tolerance… it’s about power.

Why should we, as a society, tolerate protesters who wave Black Power flags while chanting “Take Down That (Confederate) Flag!”? Their doing so indicates they believe the Confederate flag controversy is a matter of Black Power over and against White Power; therefore we should not tolerate their racist perspective.

If the Confederate flag is racist, and needs to go, then so is the Black Power flag racist, and needs to go.

Logically, we can tolerate both, or we can tolerate neither, but there is no way we should tolerate the one (Black Power) and not the other (Confederate) as we are doing now.

Political correctness is not about tolerance… it’s about power.

And, in this case, political correctness is about Black Power over and against White Power.

Black Power is, in fact, a prime example of racism, hatred, bigotry, and intolerance of the worst sort.

Political correctness tells us: “Some intolerant racist bigots are more equal than others.”

Black Lives Matter = Lumpenproletariat

“In times of prolonged crisis (depression), innumerable young people also, who cannot find an opportunity to enter into the social organism as producers, are pushed into this limbo of the outcast. Here demagogues and fascists of various stripes find some area of the mass base in time of struggle and social breakdown, when the ranks of the Lumpenproletariat are enormously swelled by ruined and declassed elements from all layers of a society in decay.

“The term [Lumpenproletariat] was later used in the Communist Manifesto (where it is translated as “dangerous classes”) and in Class Struggles in France, and elsewhere.”

“COLUMBIA, SC (WLTX)- The debate over whether or not the Confederate Battle flag should continue to fly at the state house has remained relatively peaceful.

You are spot on with your observation that it is all about power. Strip the symbols from the enemy and he is weakened.
So big business is gutless and will fold. nothing new there.

Here’s a million dollar tip for you. Set up ConfederateFlags.com…..it’s gotta be real winner.

I notice too that the UNIA flag variant no.2 has the African outline on it. Tell me, what would happen if anyone got up and asked why blacks don’t actually move there? Seriously. Freedom from ‘white oppression’, freedom to practice their african culture, freedom for black genius and creativity to flourish and to finally show whitey that they don’t need help from crackers and his racist culture. What is stopping them?

  3. Durham minister asks African Americans to fly different [=Black Power] flag on July 4th

“DURHAM, NC (WNCN) — Many spend the 4th of July watching fireworks, having cookouts and celebrating freedom. American flags represent that freedom, but a Durham minister is flying a different flag this weekend.

“Minister Paul Scott is flying the Liberation flag, which represents African American unity.

“This flag is something every African American should embrace,” said Scott. “With things being so racially charged right now in America, I thought it was right this year to raise the red, green and black.”

“The flag was created in 1920 by Civil Rights Leader Marcus Garvey. The significance of the red is the “color of the blood which men must shed for their redemption and liberty”, black for “the color of the noble and distinguished race to which we belong,” and green for “the luxuriant vegetation of our Motherland,” Garvey said when he unveiled the flag nearly 100 years ago.

“Scott says in the midst of racial violence and the burning of black churches, the African American community needs unity now more than ever.

“While other people are concerned about the confederate flag, saying take it down, we’re saying take this red, black and green flag and raise it up,” said Scott.

“He hopes to send a message to young people all across the country and the unity will help end gang violence that is so prevalent in Durham and many cities around the country.

“So many of our young people are choosing gang colors to belong to something, we’re giving them some African colors of which they can be proud of,” said Scott.

“His call to fly the red, black and green has spread online as thousands have changed their profile picture to the black liberation flag colors.”

Apparently Morris Dees of the SPLC says that the Confederate flag is a symbol of his heritage, not hate, back in 1989.

This is all about black power over the freedoms of whites. HOW COME the racist Jackson and Sharpton never say anything about how racist Ms Black America is? Or FUBU? Or Black history month? DOUBLE STANDARD!

  6. SpatialAnalysis says:

Jesus christ, this blog is fucking funny. At first I thought it was satire, then I realized this is an actual attempt to critically analyze this issue, and I died laughing. Calling the Black Power flag racist demonstrates just how uneducated you are on these matters. You embarrass white folks like myself that actually read books to learn the true history of our country (instead of your revisionist bullshit). If there is a god, may he burn your miseducated blog to the fucking ground. Fuck.

    • ronster12012 says:

Thanks for that insightful analysis…..though you did neglect to actually give a reason why the Black power flag isn’t racist.

“You embarrass white folks like myself that actually read books to learn the true history of our country (instead of your revisionist bullshit). ”
      …………………………………………………………………..
Shaming attempts such as saying X opinion is embarrassing no longer work…..or perhaps you didn’t get the memo. You have to actually give reasons now. i know it’s hard for you but do your best….

You say you read books(as if others don’t)….big fucking deal….you want a prize for that I suppose? So, because you read books presenting various opinions on the issue you should be able to make a good case for the Black power flag not being racist.

Perhaps you just really want to say that only white people can be racist?

United States government should have banned the Confederate flag after the surrounding, especially after the south betrayied the nation and succeeded from the union. Black power flag is or shouldn’t compared to the Confederate flag because simply black power is about empowering one’s self, especially being powerless for 4 hundred years. Unlike the Confederate flag it about controlling people, society and social ideals. Instead free g onself. It was bonding the hearts and minds of people. Black power is about liberation .

“United States government should have banned the Confederate flag after the surrounding, especially after the south betrayied the nation and succeeded from the union. ”
      ……………………………………………………..

But what about the 1st Amendment free speech rights….or was that to be only for some people?

Secondly, the south didn’t betray the nation as all people have the right of freedom of association and self determination……the exact same right that enabled the US to achieve independence in the first place. Make no mistake…if the war of independence had failed all the leaders would have been hung as traitors to Great Britain. that’s just the way it is.

“Black power flag is or shouldn’t compared to the Confederate flag because simply black power is about empowering one’s self, especially being powerless for 4 hundred years. ”

      …………………………………………………………………

Why are you discriminating against white people? Blacks can have any flag they want…why can’t white people? Why do you want to oppress us?

      …………………………………………………………………

“Unlike the Confederate flag it about controlling people, society and social ideals. ”

      …………………………………………………………………..

So a black power flag is about controlling the people? All people or just black people? What about people who don’t want to be controlled by it?

      …………………………………………………………………..
“It was bonding the hearts and minds of people. Black power is about liberation .”
      …………………………………………………………………..

Why not have both flags and people can choose which one they want to bond with?
Instead you seem to want to oppress white people and remove their flag. Would you try to do that to blacks?
