May is #BikeMonth — Please Share the Road! 🙂
Spring has sprung and May is Bike Month.
I’m back on a bicycle for the first time in 25 years and staying alive is my goal.
The road isn’t a great place for bicycles, or for cars and trucks, due to the poor driving skills of millions of (supposedly licensed) “drivers”.
For the most part I’m riding the back roads, trails, and fire roads. When I do ride on the road I do my best to be careful, just as I do when I’m driving a vehicle.
From many years of experience I can tell you this: you cannot be too careful on the road.
I’ve already seen countless news stories of bicyclists who have been killed and injured this year.
May is Bike Month — Please watch out for bicycle riders! 🙂
