Vatican II = New Religion?
Catholics in Crisis: Four Types of Catholics Today: 1) Sedevacantist; 2) Traditional; 3) Conservative Novus Ordo; and 4) Progressive Novus Ordo

I’ve come to the conclusion that virtually everything I’ve ever been told during my life, via the media, government, and various authority figures, has been a lie. And this includes the Catholic Church, sad to say. 😦
I was baptized in the Catholic Church in 1959, two weeks after I was born, which was before Vatican II. I have no memories of the Latin Mass, although I must have attended them during the early 1960’s. My only memories are of the New Mass (Novus Ordo Missae), which began during 1968 – 69.
I was an altar boy by that time, and, compared with today, the New Mass was still very traditional, or pre-Vatican II, in character. We had an altar rail with kneelers, and everyone would kneel down to receive communion on their tongues; and, as an altar boy, I would stand beside the priest holding a plate under every person’s chin in order to catch the consecrated host if it fell off someone’s tongue, which it never did, in my experience.
I also recall serving at daily mass, during the summertime, at a rear altar, and, as I recall, the priest wasn’t facing the people, but was facing the altar and the crucifix that was over the altar during mass.
My dad decided to leave the Church sometime during the early 1970’s, because he said Vatican II had changed everything and he no longer enjoyed attending, so he, along with me and the rest of our family, stopped attending.
It wasn’t until recently I realized just how right my dad was: Vatican II promulgated a new — false — religion, and the hierarchical, visible “Church” is no longer Catholic.
I didn’t return to the Catholic Church until 1996, after much study and thought regarding the matter. I was still no fan of Vatican II, and I was one of those people you’ll see during mass who will only receive communion on the tongue and I would receive it only from the priest, just as I was taught to do, by the priests, because this was the only proper way to do so… although I didn’t kneel, as I was also taught to do, because no one did, and because the altar rails and the kneelers in front of them had been removed from all the churches by that time (including the church I had grown up in).
Before I re-entered the Catholic Church, I had to think-through all of the many doctrines the Church had that, as a Presbyterian, which is what I was at the time, would have intellectual problems with, including — especially — the infallibility and indefectibility of the Church and the pope.
As best I can remember, I came to the conclusion then that, should a pope ever teach error regarding faith and morals, he would no longer be the pope, but would be a heretic, which would automatically disqualify him from being pope and would be the means by which the Church would remain infallible and indefectible — meaning: there was such a long history of true teachings, it would be obvious to anyone whenever a supposed pope defected from that history by teaching error, since a pope is (basically) a steward of the true teachings handed down to him.
As I understood it then, and as I understand it now, such a false “pope” is, in effect, judged to be a heretic by the words (= errors) proceeding from his own mouth (e.g., “Pope” Francis). No one need judge him, because he stands self-condemned. All that is required of other is to recognize the errors he teaches, and to recognize that he is self-condemned. And, I would think, for the bishops to remove him.
From my recent study of this matter, this does seem to be the case, which is why I consider myself a sedevacantist — meaning: the seat, or chair, of Saint Peter (= the office of pope) is vacant, or empty — and the seat has, apparently, been empty since I was baptized in 1959, which is pretty remarkable, to me.
It seems the problem, concerning heretic “popes” (like “Pope” Francis (et al) has to do with there being no process by which such a heretic can be removed from office.
I had always assumed there was such a process, such as the bishops removing him, but, apparently, there isn’t, which has given rise to two factions outside the Church: sedevacantist and traditionalist Catholics, with the first believing heretic “popes” are automatically disqualified (ipso facto) due to teaching error, and the second believing the pope is the pope regardless of error and heresy because there is no means for removing him (which I think is foolishness). And, besides all this, the bishops today are, for the most part, just as heretical as the pope is.
A lot of ink (e-ink especially) has been (and is being) spilled regarding this issue, and the links below will help you to wade through this mess, if you have any desire to do so:

Fr. Anthony Cekada – 9/11 FOR THE MAGISTERIUM: THE FRANCIS INTERVIEWS
“Bergoglio [Francis], supposedly its [the Church’s] authentic teacher, to whose teaching we are “bound to give assent of the intellect,” publicly proclaims to the Universal Church doctrinal and moral principles which, on their face at least, contradict previous magisterial teachings. Private persons must then attempt to reconcile his teaching to previous teachings through an elaborate exegetical process…
“This becomes apparent when you group summaries of Bergoglio’s outrageous statements under the general headings of either faith or morals.
“(a) Faith: There is no Catholic God, doctrinal security exists no more, he who claims to have all the answers does not have God within him, proselytism is nonsense, atheists can go to heaven, etc.
“These declarations blow away the meaning of the Creed, the nature of God, the possibility of arriving at doctrinal truths, the divine mission to convert others to those truths, and faith as a requirement for eternal salvation.
(b) Morals: Moral teachings (on the 6th and 9th commandments) are a disjointed multitude of doctrines that cannot be imposed insistently, one must not obsess about such matters (abortion, gay “marriage” and contraception), what is objectively adultery admits of a “pastoral solution,” who am I to judge, each one has his own vision of good and evil, spiritual interference in personal life is impossible, etc.
“These declarations portray mortal sins as trifles, castigate as “obsessed” those who say otherwise, trivialize adultery, reprove moral judgments, enthrone the conscience as autonomous and supreme, and effectively renounce the right of the magisterium to tell the individual conscience anything.
“It takes no effort to derive the underlying principle here: The magisterium of the Church can no longer deliver certitude about what to believe or how to act.
“Poof! The whole edifice of the magisterium crumbles, its foundations forever undermined by what Italian theologian Peter De Marco calls Bergoglio’s “relativistic slippage.” Everything — everything — is subverted.”

Sedevacantist analysis of Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope” Francis)
“Bishop Donald Sanborn and Fr. Anthony Cekada discuss the background of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio and his actions since his election. Attitude toward “liturgical abuses” and the traditional Mass. Ecumenism with Jews, Anglicans and Evangelicals. Diminishing the papacy. A disappointment to the Benedict XVI conservatives. “Humility” goes on parade. A “Paul VI resurrected”? The Ratzinger agenda dumped in favor of a more radical course. Will neo-cons engage in a “hermeneutic of denial”? The Second Vatican Council is the ultimate root of the problem…

Traditional Mass – http://www.traditionalmass.org/
“The Antichrist will not be so called; otherwise he would have no followers. He will not wear red tights, nor vomit sulphur, nor carry a trident nor wave an arrowed tail as Mephistopheles in Faust. This masquerade has helped the Devil convince men that he does not exist. When no man recognizes, the more power he exercises. God has defined Himself as “I am Who am,” and the Devil as “I am who am not.”
“Nowhere in Sacred Scripture do we find warrant for the popular myth of the Devil as a buffoon who is dressed like the first “red.” Rather is he described as an angel fallen from heaven, as “the Prince of this world,” whose business it is to tell us that there is no other world. His logic is simple: if there is no heaven there is no hell; if there is no hell, then there is no sin; if there is no sin, then there is no judge, and if there is no judgment then evil is good and good is evil. But above all these descriptions, Our Lord tells us that he will be so much like Himself that he would deceive even the elect–and certainly no devil ever seen in picture books could deceive even the elect. How will he come in this new age to win followers to his religion?
“The pre-Communist Russian belief is that he will come disguised as the Great Humanitarian; he will talk peace, prosperity and plenty not as means to lead us to God, but as ends in themselves. . . .
“. . . The third temptation in which Satan asked Christ to adore him and all the kingdoms of the world would be His, will become the temptation to have a new religion without a Cross, a liturgy without a world to come, a religion to destroy a religion, or a politics which is a religion–one that renders unto Caesar even the things that are God’s.
“In the midst of all his seeming love for humanity and his glib talk of freedom and equality, he will have one great secret which he will tell to no one: he will not believe in God. Because his religion will be brotherhood without the fatherhood of God, he will deceive even the elect. He will set up a counterchurch which will be the ape of the Church, because he, the Devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the Antichrist that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ. . . .
“. . . But the twentieth century will join the counterchurch because it claims to be infallible when its visible head speaks ex cathedra from Moscow on the subject of economics and politics, and as chief shepherd of world communism.” ” ~ Bishop Fulton J. Sheen (1948)

TWENTY-FIVE EXPLICIT ERRORS OF VATICAN COUNCIL II – http://www.catholictreasures.com/articles/25errors.html
“In order not to shock the ears of Catholics, the innovators sought to hide the subtleties of their tortuous maneuvers by the use of seemingly innocuous words such as would allow them to insinuate error into souls in the most gentle manner. Once the truth had been compromised, they could, by means of slight changes or additions in phraseology, distort the confession of the faith that is necessary for our salvation, and lead the faithful by subtle errors to their eternal damnation…. [This] cannot be excused in the way that one sees it being done, under the erroneous pretext that the seemingly shocking affirmations in one place are further developed along orthodox lines in other places, and even in yet other places corrected; as if allowing for the possibility of either affirming or denying the statement, or of leaving it up to the personal inclinations of the individual – such has always been the fraudulent and daring method used by innovators to establish error. It allows for both the possibility of promoting error and of excusing it.” –Pope Pius VI, Constitution Auctorem Fidei (1794)
The heretic Nestorius “expressed himself in a plethora of words, mixing true things with others that were obscure; mixing at times one with the other in such a way that he was also able to confess those things which were denied while at the same time possessing a basis for denying those very sentences which he confessed.” –Pope Pius VI, Constitution Auctorem Fidei (1794)
SSPX Bishop Bernard Fellay: Francis is a “Genuine Modernist”… But still holds Bergoglio is the Pope…
It is very instructive to ponder the address of Pope St. Pius X, Bp. Fellay’s alleged model, to the priests of the Apostolic Union in 1912:
When one loves the pope one does not stop to debate about what he advises or demands, to ask how far the rigorous duty of obedience extends and to mark the limit of this obligation. When one loves the pope, one does not object that he has not spoken clearly enough, as if he were obliged to repeat into the ear of each individual his will, so often clearly expressed, not only viva voce, but also by letters and other public documents; one does not call his orders into doubt on the pretext – easily advanced by whoever does not wish to obey – that they emanate not directly from him, but from his entourage; one does not limit the field in which he can and should exercise his will; one does not oppose to the authority of the pope that of other persons, however learned, who differ in opinion from the pope. Besides, however great their knowledge, their holiness is wanting, for there can be no holiness where there is disagreement with the pope.
(Pope St. Pius X, Address to the Priests of the Apostolic Union, Nov. 18, 1912; in Acta Apostolicae Sedis 4 , p. 695.)
Keep in mind that Pius X here is speaking not about himself simply but rather about the Pope as such — that is, anyPope. Funny how this is one anecdote you never hear much about from the SSPX. And this is not surprising, for you obviously cannot apply this to the Novus Ordo apostate “Popes.”
It is astounding that Bp. Fellay has no qualms about calling Francis, quite rightly, a “genuine Modernist” but then pretends as though this had no impact on his claim to being not merely a member of the Catholic Church but in fact her head! We again hearken back to the words of Pope St. Pius X, who described the Modernists as “the most pernicious of all the adversaries of the Church” (Encyclical Pascendi, par. 3). How can a most pernicious enemy of the Church, one who “put[s] into operation [his] designs for her undoing, not from without but from within”, at the same time be her Head, Guardian, Proximate Rule of Faith, Guarantor of Orthodoxy, and Vicar of Christ?!
The Church would be entirely at the mercy of her enemies if she had no way of expelling from her bosom, not by authoritative judgment only but simply by the fact of heresy itself (ipso facto), her greatest enemies, the heretics!
This is how great the protection is that God has given to His Church: public heretics are incapable of being members of the Church and cannot hold authority in the Church.
Thus they hold no power over her and cannot hold her captive. Deo gratias! This, ladies and gentlemen, is one of the ways in which God has ensured that the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church (cf. Mt 16:18). It is precisely in the possibility of sedevacantism that this protection lies, not in its impossibility! (Note well, fans of Michael Voris and The Remnant!)
If you try to fit a heretic, an apostate, like Francis into the role of Roman Pontiff, you end up with an impossible conundrum precisely because acknowledging someone as Pope has grave consequences — consequences graver than just a portrait in the sacristy and a few mentions at prayer time.
By saying Francis is Pope, you end up with absurdity. You turn the Bride of Christ into a harlot, a vicious monster against whose “rubbish” you have to protect yourself, lest you wander off and die. Think well on this and realize that if Francis is the Pope, he can’t be a Modernist, and if he’s a Modernist, he can’t be the Pope.
It’s not that difficult.
