Kermit Gosnell is not an anomaly, he is the norm.

Kermit Gosnell Found Guilty on Three First-Degree Murder Charges –

In all, Gosnell was found guilty of the following charges:

• 3 Felony Counts First Degree Murder of Babies A, C, and D
• 1 Felony Count Involuntary Manslaughter for the death of Karnamaya Mongar
• 1 Felony Count Infanticide for Baby A
• 21 Felony Counts Illegal Abortion beyond 24 weeks
• 211 Misdemeanor Counts of Violating the 24-Hour Informed Consent
• 1 Felony Count of Racketeering
• 1 Felony Count Running a Corrupt Organization
• Numerous Felony Counts of Conspiracy

The pro-abortion apologists are having problems defending abortion on demand while at the same time denouncing Kermit Gosnell and his Philly House of Horrors.

The proaborts’ best “argument” to date has been: Less regulations on abortion clinics will make woman safer and will reduce the number of Kermit Gosnells.

This is equivalent to saying: Less regulations on construction will make garment workers in Bangladesh safer and will reduce the number of unsafe garment manufacturing buildings.

The pro-abortion lobby should hire Professor Peter Singer and get new talking points from him. Singer denies that newborns are persons and maintains that infanticide is morally acceptable.

Rather than straddling the fence, as the proaborts are now doing, and rather than being caught on the horns of a dilemma of their own making, they should say this:

Late term abortions, such as those Gosnell was performing, are unsafe, dangerous for women, and should be illegal. All other abortions, before 20 weeks must remain legal. If for whatever reason a woman has not been able to procure an abortion before the 20 week limit it is safer for her to carry the child to term. These women should be permitted to partner with science, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research corporations who would pay for their medical care and housing as well as provide a substantial payment to women who would agree to give birth to their children and permit these corporation to take possession of them for scientific research and testing purposes.

If I were Satan, this is what I would suggest. What better way to eliminate animal testing  could there be than to provide human subjects for testing who are not yet persons? This idea could actually eliminate abortions all together, and could lead to many women desiring to become pregnant simply for the money. This could even lead to the end of birth control, since women could earn a substantial income by becoming pregnant. And it would also lead to much safer products, medicines, and technologies by using human – as opposed to animal – test subjects.

“In 1993, ethicist Peter Singer shocked many Americans by suggesting that no newborn should be considered a person until 30 days after birth and that the attending physician should kill some disabled babies on the spot. Five years later, his appointment as Decamp Professor of Bio-Ethics at Princeton University ignited a firestorm of controversy, though his ideas about abortion and infanticide were hardly new. In 1979 he wrote, “Human babies are not born self-aware, or capable of grasping that they exist over time. They are not persons”; therefore, “the life of a newborn is of less value than the life of a pig, a dog, or a chimpanzee.”

NARAL Pro-Choice America

May 13, 2013

“Kermit Gosnell has been found guilty and will get what he deserves. Now, let’s make sure these women are vindicated by delivering what all women deserve: access to the full range of health services including safe, high-quality and legal abortion care.” -Ilyse G. Hogue, president, NARAL Pro-Choice America

Full statement from Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, on the conviction of Kermit Gosnell:

“Justice was served to Kermit Gosnell today and he will pay the price for the atrocities he committed. We hope that the lessons of the trial do not fade with the verdict. Anti-choice politicians, and their unrelenting efforts to deny women access to safe and legal abortion care, will only drive more women to back-alley butchers like Kermit Gosnell.

“From the lack of funding available for low-income women to access abortion services, to the sharp decline of reputable providers in Pennsylvania, to the gross negligence of authorities to enforce the law after complaints were filed against Gosnell, each aspect of this case must be a teachable moment for lawmakers: until we reject the politicization of women’s medical care and leave these decisions where they belong — between a woman and her family and her doctor — women will never be safe. The horrifying story of Kermit Gosnell is a peek into the world before Roe v. Wade made legal a woman’s right to make her own choices.

“NARAL Pro-Choice America’s annual Who Decides? publication has given Pennsylvania an ‘F’ grade precisely because it has passed medically unnecessary laws that restrict access to safe and legal abortion care. It is my sincere hope that the women in Gosnell’s clinic did not suffer in vain and that Pennsylvania, and every state, will step up and join us in making the protection of women’s ability to get, safe, high quality, and legal abortion care a top priority.”

Key phrases

“the atrocities he committed” = Gosnell murdered babies for money, as do all abortionists.

“back-alley butchers like Kermit Gosnell” = None of this was done secretly. Gosnell was a well respected member of his community, whose baby killing business was located on a main thoroughfare and not in a back alley.

“The horrifying story of Kermit Gosnell is a peek into the world before Roe v. Wade” = Gosnell didn’t go into the baby murdering business until after Roe v. Wade. This is 2013, not 1970, and is, in fact, a peek into the world after Roe v. Wade.

“a teachable moment for lawmakers: until we reject the politicization of women’s medical care…” = Lawmakers and politicians should side with the be pro-abortion lobby.

“leave these decisions where they belong — between a woman and her family and her doctor” = We believe in Roe: abortion and infanticide, on demand, for any reason whatsoever, now and forever, amen.

“medically unnecessary laws” = Regulations to make abortions safer for women.

“abortion care” = Baby murder for hire

Women deserve better than abortion:

Women who have had abortions can find healing, joy, and forgiveness through Project Rachel’s free, confidential counseling –

Those who wish to force all American women to remain locked – forever – into the outdated, morally bankrupt, patriarchal, and misogynistic milieu of 1973, during which 7 old men decided all American women and children could be treated “as so much trash” are the most rabid of conservatives, never wishing for our society – or for women – to make forward progress.

A progressive vision for our society would be for us to create a life-affirming and women-empowering society in which no woman would ever need to face an unwanted pregnancy alone, and in which she would be offered by our society whatever she needed in order to provide for her child herself or to offer her child to a couple seeking to adopt.

All children should be wanted children. Their lives should be celebrated, cherished, and protected by our society, and we need to do the same for women.

The current paradigm of violence against women and the deaths of their children has failed, and we need to seek a new paradigm in which we see women and children as of inestimable value, worth, and dignity, and not see them “as so much trash”.

We, as a society, need to do better for women and their children – now – before more women are harmed – physically and emotionally – and before more children die.

“Let this case serve as a warning to other abortionists who defy the law. None of them are immune from prosecution. We encourage abortionists around the nation, many of whom we know to be breaking the law, to get out of the abortion business now, before the authorities come for them and they share Gosnell’s fate”

Leroy Carhart

Leroy Carhart

Leroy Carhart, the late term abortionist in Germantown, Maryland, induces labor in the same manner, today, as Gosnell did in Philadelphia, before he was arrested for the murder of one women and seven children.

As the PA grand jury report on the Gosnell case points out:

“When you perform late term “abortions” by inducing labor, you get babies. Live, breathing, squirming babies.”

We can be certain women and their babies are suffering the same horrible fate in Carhart’s Germantown late term abortion clinic today as women and their babies were suffering in Gosnell’s Philadelphia late term abortion clinic, which is why Carhart, like Gosnell, should be arrested for murder too.

“Germantown, MD, February 8, 2013 – A 29 year-old woman was pronounced dead at a local hospital in Rockville, MD on Thursday, February 7th, as a direct result of complications experienced during a 3rd trimester abortion by LeRoy Carhart – who was hailed as a “hero” in the film “After Tiller” at the recent Sundance Film Festival.”
