“Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Roughly translated as slum workers or the mob, this term identifies the class of outcast, degenerated and submerged elements that make up a section of the population of industrial centers. It includes beggars, prostitutes, gangsters, racketeers, swindlers, petty criminals, tramps, chronic unemployed or unemployables, persons who have been cast out by industry, and all sorts of declassed, degraded or degenerated elements.
In times of prolonged crisis (depression), innumerable young people also, who cannot find an opportunity to enter into the social organism as producers, are pushed into this limbo of the outcast. Here demagogues and fascists of various stripes find some area of the mass base in time of struggle and social breakdown, when the ranks of the Lumpenproletariat are enormously swelled by ruined and declassed elements from all layers of a society in decay.
The term was coined by Marx in The German Ideology in the course of a critique of Max Stirner. In a passage of The Ego and His Own which Marx is criticising at the time, Stirner frequently uses the term Lumpe and applies it as a prefix, but never actually used the term “lumpenproletariat.” Lumpen originally meant “rags,” but began to be used to mean “a person in rags.” From having the sense of “ragamuffin,” it came to mean “riff-raff” or “knave,” and by the beginning of the eighteenth century it began to be used freely as a prefix to make a range of perjorative terms. By the 1820s, “lumpen” could be tacked on to almost any German word.
What does Occupy Oakland and Occupy Wall Street – “the dangerous class” – hope to accomplish?
“The “dangerous class” [lumpenproletariat], the social scum, that passively rotting mass thrown off by the lowest layers of the old society, may, here and there, be swept into the movement by a proletarian revolution; its conditions of life, however, prepare it far more for the part of a bribed tool of reactionary intrigue.
In the condition of the proletariat, those of old society at large are already virtually swamped. The proletarian is without property; his relation to his wife and children has no longer anything in common with the bourgeois family relations; modern industry labour, modern subjection to capital, the same in England as in France, in America as in Germany, has stripped him of every trace of national character. Law, morality, religion, are to him so many bourgeois prejudices, behind which lurk in ambush just as many bourgeois interests.
All the preceding classes that got the upper hand sought to fortify their already acquired status by subjecting society at large to their conditions of appropriation. The proletarians cannot become masters of the productive forces of society, except by abolishing their own previous mode of appropriation, and thereby also every other previous mode of appropriation. They have nothing of their own to secure and to fortify; their mission is to destroy all previous securities for, and insurances of, individual property.
All previous historical movements were movements of minorities, or in the interest of minorities. The proletarian movement is the self-conscious, independent movement of the immense majority, in the interest of the immense majority. The proletariat, the lowest stratum of our present society, cannot stir, cannot raise itself up, without the whole superincumbent strata of official society being sprung into the air.
Though not in substance, yet in form, the struggle of the proletariat with the bourgeoisie is at first a national struggle. The proletariat of each country must, of course, first of all settle matters with its own bourgeoisie.
In depicting the most general phases of the development of the proletariat, we traced the more or less veiled civil war, raging within existing society, up to the point where that war breaks out into open revolution, and where the violent overthrow of the bourgeoisie lays the foundation for the sway of the proletariat.
Hitherto, every form of society has been based, as we have already seen, on the antagonism of oppressing and oppressed classes. But in order to oppress a class, certain conditions must be assured to it under which it can, at least, continue its slavish existence. The serf, in the period of serfdom, raised himself to membership in the commune, just as the petty bourgeois, under the yoke of the feudal absolutism, managed to develop into a bourgeois.
The modern labourer, on the contrary, instead of rising with the process of industry, sinks deeper and deeper below the conditions of existence of his own class. He becomes a pauper, and pauperism develops more rapidly than population and wealth. And here it becomes evident, that the bourgeoisie is unfit any longer to be the ruling class in society, and to impose its conditions of existence upon society as an over-riding law. It is unfit to rule because it is incompetent to assure an existence to its slave within his slavery, because it cannot help letting him sink into such a state, that it has to feed him, instead of being fed by him. Society can no longer live under this bourgeoisie, in other words, its existence is no longer compatible with society.
The essential conditions for the existence and for the sway of the bourgeois class is the formation and augmentation of capital; the condition for capital is wage-labour. Wage-labour rests exclusively on competition between the labourers. The advance of industry, whose involuntary promoter is the bourgeoisie, replaces the isolation of the labourers, due to competition, by the revolutionary combination, due to association. The development of Modern Industry, therefore, cuts from under its feet the very foundation on which the bourgeoisie produces and appropriates products. What the bourgeoisie therefore produces, above all, are its own grave-diggers. Its fall and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable.”

Occupy Wall Street and Stop The Machine in Washington, DC are part of the 2011 International Road to Dignity, which is a global movement that was organized in April 2011: http://www.scoop.it/t/15-o-unitedforglobalchange/p/388582011/2011-international-road-to-dignity
Occupy Wall Street is in league with hundred of other similar occupation movements that were organized in April 2011. This occupation movement is not spontaneous, and the people involved with it are engaging in what they consider to be a Marxist/Communist Global Class Warfare Revolution: http://www.thenewsignificance.com/2011/08/22/orsan-senalp-global-class-warfare/
Comment on OWS page concerning Occupy Oakland: “You must be crazy Oakland. I’ve lived in Oakland. I see a bunch of white people in that crowd. That ain’t Oakland. Those are kids from Berkeley.”
Why does the Occupy Movement and Stop The Machine (now occupying Freedom Plaza in Washington) use the raised, angry, clenched fist as a symbol for their occupation movements?
The raised fist symbolizes the radical Left’s anger and propensity for violence against the establishment powers that be. This is wrong-headed in the worst way: we shouldn’t respond to anger with anger and to violence with violence.
Dr King never used this angry symbol, and the people who use the raised fist symbol and who also say they are following in the nonviolent tradition of Dr King are lying. Dr King wanted to see love implement the demands of justice; he did not want his movement to represent anger, resentment, and violent revolution.

Anger only breeds more anger. What we need today is a revolution of values and of love. We don’t need more anger and more violence.
Get away from the clenched fist symbol Occupy Wall Street and Stop The Machine! IF you want to represent truth and justice, as Dr King did. Because right now your “movement” appears to be a far left angry radical movement that expects (provokes?) violence (see this video).
Riots, violent revolution, and a military dictatorship are what the Egyptian people got.
And the Occupy Movement seems to want the same for America. Dr King was against violent revolution, as am I. And the overwhelming majority of Americans are also against violent revolution.
The vast majority of Americans want – and America needs – what Dr King represented: love implementing the demands of justice.
For a social and political movement that is not based upon anger and resentment, but upon love implementing the demands of justice, see: Summer of Justice – 2012 – DC.
We have had enough of hatred, anger, and violence. It is time to begin rebuilding America upon the values it once stood for. It is not time to tear down what remains of America via violence, hatred, and anger, which is what the Occupy Movement represents.

“Mr. Maher and his colleagues began reading about nonviolent struggles. They were especially drawn to a Serbian youth movement called Otpor, which had helped topple the dictator Slobodan Milosevic by drawing on the ideas of an American political thinker, Gene Sharp. The hallmark of Mr. Sharp’s work is well-tailored to Mr. Mubark’s Egypt: He argues that nonviolence is a singularly effective way to undermine police states that might cite violent resistance to justify repression in the name of stability.”
“The April 6 Youth Movement modeled its logo — a vaguely Soviet looking red and white clenched fist—after Otpor’s, and some of its members traveled to Serbia to meet with Otpor activists.” Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/14/world/middleeast/14egypt-tunisia-protests.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
The dates of Israel’s three terror attacks on America: September 11, 2001; September 15, 2008; and September 17, 2011:
First Israelis/Jews perpetrated the most massive terror attack ever against the US, on September 11, 2001, in order to get the US involved in wars for Israel; then the Israeli/Jewish financiers collapsed our economy with an “economic 9/11″ on September 15, 2008, which has created the worst US economic depression in modern times; then Israeli/Jewish radical Leftists organized an OTPOR style destabilization campaign in the streets of America designed to create economic and political chaos, which began on Septemeber 17, 2011: Adbusters‘ Occupy Wall Street.

Israel/Jews did 9/11:
Israel/Jews did the 2008 “Economic 9/11”:
Is it just a coincidence that all of these attacks occurred just before the beginning of the Jewish New Year: Rosh Hashanah? This is a time of reflection and repentance for past sins that are committed by Jews and it stands to reason that, because Judaism is so legalistically minded, these Pharisaically minded Jews could commit the most horrible of crimes knowing they could simply “repent” of them and “be forgiven” of them immediately afterward:
Dates of Rosh Hashanah:
2001: September 18
2008: September 30
2011: September: 29
“The ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur are commonly known as the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance. This is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur.”
Come on America – Left and Right. Stop being fooled, stop being Israel’s bitch, and let’s do something reasonable, honorable, and realistic, which can bring about real change and the justice we seek.
The pro-Israel Right is wrong about justice, because they support the wars, and the pro-abortion Left is wrong, because they support the slaughter of innocent children in their mother’s wombs.
Have you seen this article: Progressives are misjudging the moment, written by Philip Klein, of the Washington Examiner?
I think this article by Klein is spot on. If anything, Americans are divided 50-50 on virtually every issue we face. America has always leaned conservative; toward liberty and freedom but the conservative right is also misjudging the moment, because its pro-business “deregulation-ism” is running amok.
Both the Left and the Right are overreacting, and only causing a worsening of the ongoing political polarization.
Foolish, if you ask me.
As I’ve said, time and time again: the Left needs the Right and the Right needs the Left, and the Left and the Right need to come together, because we will never recapture our federal government, for the American People, unless and until we do.
Wanna get at the top of the Google Search results? Sadly, it’s very easy. Just write something that no one else is writing; like an article I wrote titled: “America – Why the Left and the Right Need to Come Together Now”.
Have you seen this article: Secret panel may put Americans on “kill list”?
What can I say? I never thought I would see this headline in America. It’s a time for radical change and for drastic measures to be taken against our criminal Washington government.
These mass murderers must be stopped, and they’re not going to be stopped by carrying signs and beating drums; they can only be stopped by people who have the wisdom, the courage, the drive, the strategy, the organization, and the leadership who have the vision of what America can and must become, which is far beyond anything we have yet seen.
I don’t think we any choice left to us but to stop them no matter what the cost.
We can’t continue to “live” like this. The criminal Washington politicians are killing us and everything America has ever meant to us!
I’m about as American as anyone can be, having grown-up a normal, well-adjusted, patriotic, Catholic kid who was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the Washington area; my dad having worked for the federal government. And, having served in the US military, I have a sworn obligation to America and her Constitution: to defend her against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The Washington politicians, today, are our enemies, as is their beloved Israel; both of which must go, now (not to mention China).
Our strategy, though nonviolent, must gain the support of the police and the military in order to be successful and, I can assure you, many people in high levels of the military are preparing to take matters into their own hands if an alternative civilian government cannot be organized, and if a nonviolent revolution fails. So be it, if that’s the case.
They, too, swore the oath. But I think we will succeed.
Here’s the link to the philosophy and nonviolent plan of action, if you’re interested: http://www.scribd.com/doc/62966380/Philosophy-and-Plan-of-Action-The-Summer-of-Justice-2012-DC
What all Americans – Left and Right – should be protesting, in the streets, on strike, and furiously demanding an end to, is the evil, murderous slaughter of innocent human beings!
But, unfortunately, both the Left and the Right have certain people they want to slaughter: the Left wants to shamelessly continue the legal ongoing slaughter of innocent children within their mother’s wombs, as if these children were property and not people; and the Right wants to shamelessly continue the ongoing slaughter of innocent men, women, and children in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Syria, Bahrain, and, eventually, Iran, as though these people, who have never done anything to hurt us, are the (inhuman) enemies of America, when they are not.
Shame on both!
The question is: How much are we willing to do without? To live simply? So that others, too, might live simply. After all, it’s really not the government’s job to care for our neighbors, it’s our job. It’s not for us to plan a socialist utopia or a free market utopia, neither of which can ever be; it’s up to us to care for one another, to be willing live simply, so that all may have what they need. This is the path to justice, peace, and equality: humility, compassion, and love; not envy, anger, and hatred.
The fruit of justice is peace. Justice means “to give to every person that which is due them“. All peoples have dignity and worth, and all peoples are deserving of justice. Until we seek justice for all peoples, especially those we don’t like, agree with, or perceive to be our property (e.g., workers, the unborn) or our enemies (e.g., the wealthy, the Muslims) we will never have peace.
Wake up people. Admit the heartless, brainless, hypocritical error of our evil ways, regain our humanity, and our government, and Stop the slaughter! Stop the violence! Stop the anger! Start loving one another and begin waging peace and justice for All Americans, because the fruit of justice is peace!
