I am a person who is concerned with justice and the protection of life, especially human life; therefore I am consistently Pro-Life.
“We are committed to the protection of life, which is threatened in today’s world by war, abortion, poverty, racism, capital punishment and euthanasia. We believe that these issues are linked under a ‘consistent ethic of life’. We challenge those working on all or some of these issues to maintain a cooperative spirit of peace, reconciliation, and respect in protecting the unprotected.” See: http://www.consistent-life.org/
Having spoken with many of the people (including organizers) involved with October 2011 – Stop the Machine! Create a New World!, which is affiliated with (and pre-dates) the Occupy Wall Street movement, I easily and quickly concluded that this far Left “movement”, with its double standard of “justice”, does not include seeking justice for, or the protection of, the millions of yet-to-be-born children who live within their mother’s wombs.
October 2011 – Stop the Machine! Create a New World!, being pro-justice yet pro-abortion, while attempting “to create a peaceful, just, and sustainable future that respects all of humanity and the planet”, finds itself with two standards of justice, wherein some people (the born) are more equal than other people (the unborn child within her mother’s womb).
Being pro-abortion shows absolutely no “respect for all of humanity“, as this group claims to be in support of. To endorse the ongoing slaughter of innocents that is “abortion on demand”, and to propose that this slaughter continue on, forever, as they do, is hardly “creating a new world” wherein justice reigns for all. It’s simply the brutal perpetuation of the ongoing culture of death we now inhabit.
People who support abortion’s legality don’t like to admit, or to say, out loud or in print, what they truly support: a woman’s legal right to “hire someone to kill her baby”, which is what abortion on demand is, because it sounds ugly and mean and selfish and inhuman and heartless and unjust, which it is.
Surely women deserve better than abortion! And surely the creation of a “better world” would include empowering both women and their unborn children!
Thankfully there is hope after abortion!
Legalized abortion on demand actually decreases a woman’s dignity and freedom, it doesn’t increase her dignity and freedom: “Anything that uplifts the human personality is just, anything that degrades the human personality is unjust” ~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Legalized abortion on demand degrades women and their unborn children, and “it’s time we get this thing right…what we need is love implementing the demands of justice” (MLK) for both the women and their unborn children.
Having seen (first-hand) women dropped-off at abortion mills by men, I know abortion on demand is degrading to both the women and the children involved. Most women are pressured by men into getting an abortion (usually performed at the hands of a man), which is no “choice” at all for these women. This is: men degrading women in the worst possible way.
Justice is: to render to every individual that which is her due, especially her right to live – whether born or not-yet-born (see here).
The Left in America has a cafeteria-style approach to justice, which means: rendering to some what is their due but not rendering to all what is their due. To the Left, some people are more equal than others.
For example, it’s okay to the Left for someone to hire a person to intentionally, violently, dismember an innocent, defenseless child within her mother’s womb, but it’s not okay for the state to execute someone who has been tried and found guilty of killing someone (as in Troy Davis’ case, a cop).
How long will the Left waver between two standards of justice, while hypocritically claiming to believe in justice for all?
To all pro-justice but pro-abortion Leftists:
“For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things. No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments and speak lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.” (Isaiah 59:3-4)

“Mr. Maher and his colleagues began reading about nonviolent struggles. They were especially drawn to a Serbian youth movement called Otpor, which had helped topple the dictator Slobodan Milosevic by drawing on the ideas of an American political thinker, Gene Sharp. The hallmark of Mr. Sharp’s work is well-tailored to Mr. Mubark’s Egypt: He argues that nonviolence is a singularly effective way to undermine police states that might cite violent resistance to justify repression in the name of stability.”
“The April 6 Youth Movement modeled its logo — a vaguely Soviet looking red and white clenched fist—after Otpor’s, and some of its members traveled to Serbia to meet with Otpor activists.” Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/14/world/middleeast/14egypt-tunisia-protests.html?_r=1&pagewanted=all
