The Road to 9/11

“This is an ambitious, meticulous examination of how U.S. foreign policy since the 1960s has led to partial or total cover-ups of past domestic criminal acts, including, perhaps, the catastrophe of 9/11. Peter Dale Scott, whose previous books have investigated CIA involvement in southeast Asia, the drug wars, and the Kennedy assassination, here probes how the policies of presidents since Nixon have augmented the tangled bases for the 2001 terrorist attack. Scott shows how America’s expansion into the world since World War II has led to momentous secret decision making at high levels. He demonstrates how these decisions by small cliques are responsive to the agendas of private wealth at the expense of the public, of the democratic state, and of civil society. He shows how, in implementing these agendas, U.S. intelligence agencies have become involved with terrorist groups they once backed and helped create, including al Qaeda.” Continue reading

Are the times of the Gentiles about to be fulfilled?

Lest you be wise in your own sight, I want you to understand this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

As regards the gospel, they are enemies of God for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.

For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! ~ Saint Paul (Romans 11:25-33)

A superior culture cannot permit its foundations to be poisoned and destroyed

We have choices to make: Will we serve God or Satan? Will we choose Life or Death? Will we choose Liberty or Libertinism? Will we choose Law or Chaos? Will we choose Peace or War? Continue reading

The DSM – Psychology and Psychiatry’s Subjective Sinking Ship

“Unlike our definitions of ischemic heart disease, lymphoma, or AIDS, the DSM diagnoses are based on a consensus about clusters of clinical symptoms, not any objective laboratory measure. In the rest of medicine, this would be equivalent to creating diagnostic systems based on the nature of chest pain or the quality of fever. Indeed, symptom-based diagnosis, once common in other areas of medicine, has been largely replaced in the past half century as we have understood that symptoms alone rarely indicate the best choice of treatment.” Continue reading

The De-Christianization of Western Civilization?

Professor Benjamin Wiker argues that many peoples today are seeking to establish secularism as the official religion for the U.S. In fact, he says they are organizing the complete “de-Christianization” of Western Civilization, and plan to replace personal faith with the collective dependence on our federal government… Continue reading

Gun control, mental health, and the end of the Second Amendment

With all of this talk about gun control and mental health, I would suggest people look into what mental “conditions” are now, with the aid of the new DSM 5, going to be classified as “mental disorders”, because no one will be allowed to own a gun if the feds pass mental health and reporting standards according to it. Re: Violence – Let’s be intellectually honest, for a change… shall we?

The last quotation from the final page of The Order of Things does not allude to Sade by name. But, in association with the other passages and in context, there can be little doubt that the great cultural ‘mutation’ welcomed by Foucault refers directly to Sade’s moral philosophy and to its practice in actual life.” (Forbidden Knowledge, 246-247) Continue reading
