Honky-Tonk Gospel

“Country music is music for adults. Rock and roll is about adolescence — their young loves and lusts, their rebellions, and their insecurities. No such generation gap exists in country music…. country music sings about adult concerns: marriage, work, children, memories. It also sings frankly and poignantly about adult problems: divorce, single parenthood, alcoholism, job woes, money worries, loneliness, death.” (Honky-Tonk Gospel, p 12) Continue reading

Nostra Aetate (4) is solemn nonsense, it makes no (Catholic) sense

“At the heart of the [post-Vatican II] Novus Ordo Church there is Ecumenism, a set of heretical and impious practices and beliefs that–officially–aims to bring about “unity” among all those who claim the name of “Christian.” While this sounds like a noble and pious goal, the Catholic Church has always taught that the only way to bring about true religious unity is by non-Catholics converting to Catholicism, for only the Catholic Church is the true and only Church founded by the Lord Jesus Christ, and only the Catholic Church is the Ark of Salvation, outside of which no one can be saved. The Catholic Church has always issued strong rebukes against ecumenical ventures (Popes Pius IX, Leo XIII, St. Pius X, Pius XI, and Pius XII come to mind in particular), warning the faithful that such things lead to the ruin of souls. Now that the Novus Ordo Church has eclipsed the Catholic Church since 1958, and by looking at what has taken place since then, we can see in practice just how bad ecumenism is, what fruits it has wrought, and why the Catholic Church is so adamantly opposed to it.” Continue reading

Libido Dominandi: Sexual Liberation and Political Control

“Thus, a good man, though a slave, is free; but a wicked man, though a king, is a slave. For he serves, not one man alone, but, what is worse, as many masters as he has vices.” ~ St. Augustine Continue reading

Are the times of the Gentiles about to be fulfilled?

Lest you be wise in your own sight, I want you to understand this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

As regards the gospel, they are enemies of God for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy.

For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! ~ Saint Paul (Romans 11:25-33)

Virtually everything we’re taught about cosmology and evolution is wrong

The origins of the universe and life on earth are mysteries, yet modern science, in order to jettison God from our world, insists on providing pseudoscientific explanation for both of these, asserting these “explanations” as “facts”, and hiding the truth: science has no answers, other than mystical ones, which require faith to believe in, that are not scientific but religious… Continue reading

Antipope Francis, the Apocalypse, the Beast, the Antichrist, and more…

“Referring to the situation of the Church today, the Holy Father says he has the feeling that “from some fissure the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God.” There is doubt, uncertainty, problems, restlessness, dissatisfaction, confrontation.”
“Riferendosi alla situazione della Chiesa di oggi, il Santo Padre afferma di avere la sensazione che da qualche fessura sia entrato il fumo di Satana nel tempio di Dio. C’è il dubbio, l’incertezza, la problematica, l’inquietudine, l’insoddisfazione, il confronto.” Continue reading
