Al Qaeda & Associates: Weaponized Islam Courtesy of CIA

With the recent invasion of Iraq by an al Qaeda affiliate, many people lack the context into which to place this most recent development, in order to make sense of it. People are bemoaning the fact the the US war in Iraq was for naught. That soldiers dies and were injured for nothing. That the war was won until Obama blew it. Etc… Continue reading

The Road to 9/11

“This is an ambitious, meticulous examination of how U.S. foreign policy since the 1960s has led to partial or total cover-ups of past domestic criminal acts, including, perhaps, the catastrophe of 9/11. Peter Dale Scott, whose previous books have investigated CIA involvement in southeast Asia, the drug wars, and the Kennedy assassination, here probes how the policies of presidents since Nixon have augmented the tangled bases for the 2001 terrorist attack. Scott shows how America’s expansion into the world since World War II has led to momentous secret decision making at high levels. He demonstrates how these decisions by small cliques are responsive to the agendas of private wealth at the expense of the public, of the democratic state, and of civil society. He shows how, in implementing these agendas, U.S. intelligence agencies have become involved with terrorist groups they once backed and helped create, including al Qaeda.” Continue reading

Six NTSB Investigators Claim the Official TWA Flight 800 Crash Story Is a Lie

“A new film claims the official government report on the crash of TWA Flight 800 in 1996 is an elaborate fabrication, but the most shocking part of the story is that charges are being leveled by some of the very investigators who put the report together. Six experts who appear in the film were members of the National Transportation Safety Board investigation team that concluded the crash was an accident, but they now claim they were silenced by their superiors. The movies, “TWA Flight 800″ will debut on EPIX TV next month, on the 17-year anniversary of the crash…” Continue reading

John McCain, Lindsey Graham, John Kerry, and Barack Obama fund, arm, and train al Qaeda and its associates in Syria

“Happily for the busy lunatics who rule over us, we are permanently the United States of Amnesia. We learn nothing because we remember nothing.” ~ Gore Vidal

“It should by now be generally accepted that the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan on Christmas Eve 1979 was deliberately provoked by the United States. In his memoir published in 1996, the former CIA director Robert Gates made it clear that the American intelligence services began to aid the mujahideen guerrillas not after the Soviet invasion, but six months before it. In an interview two years later with Le Nouvel Observateur, President Carter’s national security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski proudly confirmed Gate’s assertions. “According to the official version of history,” Brzezinski said, “CIA aid to the mujahideen began during 1980, that’s to say, after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan. But the reality, kept secret until now, is completely different: on 3 July 1979 President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. And on the same day I wrote a note to the president in which I explained that in mu opinion this aid would lead to a Soviet military intervention.” ~ Chalmers Johnson Continue reading

Choose your Islamic Jihadi: Hezbollah or al Qaeda?

Syria, Hezbollah, Iran, Russia, and China versus Al Qaeda, USA, Israel, France, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and others

“Syria’s conflict is often described as a “civil war,” but that is only true insofar as it has yet to spill over into another country on a large scale or draw in too many different forces. But it is the quintessential proxy war, with the Alawite (an offshoot of Shia Islam) Assad regime backed up by Shia allies Hezbollah and Iran, as well as Russia and China.

“The Sunni rebels are supported by the Islamist rulers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, as well as the U.S., France, Britain and others.” Continue reading
