In Before Jerusalem Fell “Gentry convincingly demonstrates the fact the Book Revelation was written, as it in so many ways declares, prior to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. It should receive a wide reading and ought to rattle many windows.”- Jay E. Adams, Ph.D.

“In April, the pastor of St. Brigid Church in Gdansk [Poland] told parishioners during services that “Jews killed Jesus and the prophets” and displayed posters asserting that only Christians could be true citizens. The Archbishop of Gdansk subsequently removed the priest for this and other improprieties.” ~ US Department of State Report on Global Anti-Semitism

Jews, Paul said: “killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us.”

Of Jerusalem, Jesus said:

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.” Matthew 23:37-38

“Desolate” = “Abandoned by God.”

(The Greek word: “aphiémi”, “desolate” or “abandoned”, is found in the original Greek text of Matthew 23:38. The lexical entry for the word is: aphíēmi; which is a form of the word: aphietai used in Matthew 23:38)

Of Babylon – meaning Jerusalem –  John said: “And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.” ~ Revelation 18:24

To the Jewish Pharisees, Jesus said: “Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.” ~ Matthew 23:34-36

Jesus prophesied the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem, which occurred in 70 AD when Jerusalem was overthrown by the Roman armies.

The Bible tells us, according to Jesus, armies would destroy Jerusalem and its temple, and that this destruction (by the Roman armies) and desolation (=abandonment by God) of Jerusalem is “the abomination of desolation” Daniel wrote about. Jesus also said the readers of Daniel should understand this:

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” ~ Matthew 24:15-21

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” ~ Luke 21:20-24

Compare the two passages above, according to Jesus: “the abomination of desolation” = “Jerusalem compassed by armies”

The Jews being “led away captive into all nations” is the curse of God, which Moses told Israel would come upon them for failing to keep the God’s Law and the covenant he made with them:

“But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you.” ~ Deuteronomy 28:15

“And the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known. And among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but the LORD will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul. Your life shall hang in doubt before you. Night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life” ~ Deuteronomy 28:64-66

JEW FAQ tells us – “Jews do not believe that Jesus was the mashiach. Assuming that he existed, and assuming that the Christian scriptures are accurate in describing him (both matters that are debatable), he simply did not fulfill the mission of the mashiach as it is described in the biblical passages cited above. Jesus did not do any of the things that the scriptures said the messiah would do.” See: http://www.jewfaq.org/mashiach.htm

“In this scholarly and deeply considered work, the author documents his provocative thesis that Judaism is not the religion of the Old Testament, but the newly formalized belief system of the Pharisees, which arose in Babylon with the commitment of the formerly oral “tradition of the elders” to writing, in the wake of the crucifixion of Israel’s Messiah and the destruction of the Temple. Basing his findings on authoritative Judaic sources, Hoffman demonstrates that Judaism is a man-made religion of tradition and superstition, which represents the institutionalized nullification of Biblical law and doctrine. Liberating the reader from the accumulated shackles of decades of misinformation, this book shows that Judaism’s God is not the God of Israel, but the strange gods of Talmud and Kabbalah, and the racial self-worship they inculcate.”

Raging (Acts 26:9-11)

This doesn’t make the NT antisemitic, it’s simply the gospel truth.

Jews were (and are) example of all peoples… who have done (and do) both the good and the evil which all of us are capable of.

Jesus forgave those who crucified him, and he forgives all those who repent, believe in him, and keep his commandments.

The gospel is for all peoples – for the Jew first, then the Gentile.

Given Jews define anti-Jew as “anti-semitic,” then yes, New Test. IS “anti-semitic”–so what? Ho ho ho. Given the premises, anti-semitism is obedience to God, by golly.
