Volunteers Needed!

Provide-A-Meal (PAM) groups needed in SOME’s Dining Room for the Homeless

Provide-A-Meal (PAM) groups make it possible for SOME to serve thousands of meals to hungry children, women, and men, every year. This is a wonderful volunteer program for businesses, civic organizations and places of worship to feed the hungry. We are in great need of groups to provide meals for both breakfast and lunch.

Represent SOME at local workplace giving charity fairs

Sign up with a friend! Workplace giving through the United Way and Combined Federal Campaign is a critical way SOME receives funding to support our programs for the poor and homeless.  You will accompany a staff member to your first fair, and receive training to enhance your knowledge of SOME and the services we provide. We are looking for volunteers with flexible weekday schedules and a car (SOME will reimburse you for gas). Your help to showcase SOME at charity fairs will spread the word about the great need for our services in the community. Please contact Rebecca Potts- Dupre at (202) 797-8806 ext. 1131 or rpotts-dupre@some.org for more information.

On Thursday, September 13 Hill staff crossed party lines to come together at the Pour House to raise money for SOME.  Proceeds from this event helped to fund the renovation of Fendall Heights, the future home of 30 homeless veterans and their families.

  1. It’s very trouble-free to find out any matter on net as compared to books, as I found this paragraph at this site.
