A.N.S.W.E.R. and “October 2011 – Stop the Machine”

A.N.S.W.E.R. - CIA Sponsored? Antiwar Protest is Washington, D.C. - March 19, 2011

Once again, the A.N.S.W.E.R Coalition is seeking to channel well-meaning, angry American citizens who wish to see justice and peace established in America into its dead end, counter-productive, “movement”.

This is my own personal opinion but I think “October 2011 Stop the Machine” should begin to distance themselves from A.N.S.W.E.R.

A.N.S.W.E.R. has far leftist positions and makes far leftist statements that purposefully alienate the vast majority of the American people. A.N.S.W.E.R. even went so far on March 20, 2010 as to incite one member of “Iraq Veterans Against the Wars” to burn an American flag, which infuriated the members of this good antiwar veterans group, and for very good reason. Obviously, this “movement” is NOT a movement of the American people, the vast majority of whom are to the right politically speaking, and not the left, especially the far left, like A.N.S.W.E.R.

A.N.S.W.E.R. wishes to funnel good well-meaning antiwar and social justice activists from the “October 2011 Stop the Machine” protest into its own going nowhere movement and desires to use this event for its own purposes in order to further alienate activists from the American people. The American people want the wars to end, they want jobs, they want responsible government, as do the organizers and participants of “October 2011 Stop the Machine”, but Americans will never support A.N.S.W.E.R.’s outdated leftist rhetoric and its flag-burning ideology. A.N.S.W.E.R. and everything it touches becomes tainted with what the American people hate, rather than that which the American people would support. This, I believe, is the purpose of A.N.S.W.E.R. and the agency which probably created and controls it: the CIA.

The CIA has a long history of co-opting protest movements in order for these movements to become impotent and, if necessary, to give the activists involved a bad name. For example, anyone with any sense knows that if Americans across the country see an antiwar group on television protesting the wars in Washington burning an American flag the antiwar group becomes as toasted as the flag. No American will support such a wrong-headed movement. NO ONE. During the turbulent 60′s, the CIA ran project MERRIMAC in order to infiltrate and control antiwar activists and radicals so that their movements would come to nothing and the bad folks at the CIA are doing the same today with A.N.S.W.E.R.

Does A.N.S.W.E.R. and the CIA have more flag burning in store for us this October? No doubt it does, along with more of its outdated, pathetic, anti-American, far leftist rhetoric. One good flag burning on television is a sure-fire way to undo months worth, even years worth, of hard work, which is done by dedicated peace activists, in the blink of an eye. An old, but very effective, CIA tactic, which is used to alienate peace activists from the American populace.

I hope not. Please don’t fall for A.N.S.W.E.R. again, people. We can’t afford it, especially now.

For a non-CIA run people’s movement, which has cost $0.00 thus far and is sponsored by no one (i.e., a true grass roots movement), see: Summer of Justice – 2012 – DC, which will take place at 12 noon on July 4, 2012 at the new Martin Luther King memorial in Washington, D.C.

Unlike A.N.S.W.E.R., Summer of Justice – 2012 – DC is developing organizational plans which concern every detail as far as “what we will do and how we will do it” once the people abolish the current criminal government in Washington and establish a new one, which is not criminal, made up of good people. A.N.S.W.E.R. has no such plans, and never does, because A.N.S.W.E.R. has no intention of upsetting the status quo, as per CIA directive.

Americans of the left and the right, in order to come together, will need to agree upon certain basic, traditional, American philosophical principles. Simply coming together to resist the wars is not enough. It’s not even enough to stop the wars. Please read about the Summer of Justice – 2012 – DC and you will find links to many papers outlining these basic traditional American philosophical principles, which can be found in the Declaration of Independence, Dr King’s civil rights movement, and the Summer of Justice – 2012 – DC movement. Without dealing meaningfully with the issue of basic philosophical principles upon which all Americans can agree no movement will work. 1. See this article about Washington DC A.N.S.W.E.R. leader Brian Becker and his ties to the Workers World Party: http://www.postwatchblog.com/2007/03/brian_becker_in.html

  2. See, too, this quote, which concerns “hooking into a movement that exists” (i.e., co-opting existing movements) and “channeling people” into his far left political ideology, taken from the article linked above, which comes from the New York Times: .

“Brian Becker, the national coordinator of the Answer Coalition and a member of the Party of Socialism and Liberation, said the group held out little hope of influencing either the president or Congress. “It is about radicalizing people,” Mr. Becker said in an interview. “You hook into a movement that exists — in this case the antiwar movement — and channel people who care about that movement and bring them into political life, the life of political activism.”

  3. I was in the crowd when the American flag was burned and a collective GROAN went up from EVERYONE . . . I was also locked-up with the guy who, although meaning well, was unwise enough to burn the flag. We argued the point for days! I know he meant well but it’s like shooting yourself and your movement in the foot to burn the American flag. We don’t want to destroy the symbol of America because America has become evil, we want to restore honor and dignity to America and it’s national symbol. There’s a HUGE difference.
